After years of feeling dismissed by physicians regarding my painful periods and heavy
bleeding, I decided in 2018 to take control of my health and scheduled a consultation with
Dr. Griffin at Buffalo IVF. Based on our evaluation, he strongly suspected endometriosis and
recommended a laparoscopy, which confirmed the diagnosis.
In 2023, I returned to Buffalo IVF after experiencing unexplained infertility and undergoing
five unsuccessful IUIs at another clinic. With the return of my painful symptoms, Dr. Griffin
suggested a second laparoscopy, which confirmed the endometriosis had come back.
We proceeded with additional IUIs, eight in total and finally, I saw something I never
thought I would: a positive pregnancy test. That moment was filled with relief, joy, and
immense gratitude.
Today, I’m a proud mom to a healthy 8-month-old baby girl, my miracle baby. I’m incredibly
thankful to Dr. Griffin and the entire team at Buffalo IVF for their expertise, compassion,
and for helping make my dream of becoming a mother come true. Trusting my instincts to
return to this clinic was the best decision I made.
To anyone going through this journey, don’t give up. Listen to your body, trust your instincts,
and most importantly trust the process. Miracles can take time, but they are absolutely
possible.
